April is the Business Librarian at the University of Texas. She received her MSIS from the University of Texas at Austin and her MBA from Wichita State University. Prior to joining the University of Texas Libraries, April was a research analyst for a venture capital firm. In addition to her research experience, she also has nearly 10 years of experience in marketing and public relations.
April is the past-president the Texas Chapter of the Special Libraries Association and was awarded the Achievement in Academic Librarianship Award for 2011 from the SLA Business & Finance Division. Laura is a Research Analyst for a venture capital firm. She received her MSIS from the University of Texas and her BA from Metropolitan State College of Denver. Before pursuing a career in the private sector, she provided research and instruction services for the University of Texas Libraries.

Annette is the Business Librarian at the University of California at Irvine. She received her MSIS from the University of Texas at Austin and her BA in Communication from Trinity University in San Antonio.
Before working at UCI Annette was the Business Graduate Research Assistant for UT Austin’s Business Information Center. She also has three years of experience in the luxury jewelry industry, and she has a Graduate Gemologist certification from GIA.

Ryan is an Associate Research Analyst at the Austin Technology Incubator (a high-tech startup incubator based at the University of Texas Austin). On nights and weekends, he is also a contract researcher, serving the market and competitive intelligence needs of the Austin startup community.
Ryan recently received his MS in Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, he holds an MA in History (from UT) and a BA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
